A snake once hatched a plot to eat all the frogs in a lake. He approached the king of the frogs and said, "Because of a Brahmin's curse, I have come here to serve all of you."
The frog king was ecstatic and informed the other frogs. They climbed onto the snake's back, with the king at the front, and began to ride the snake.
The following day, while the frogs were riding the snake again, the snake complained to the king, "I don't have anything to eat, which is why I'm unable to slither quickly."
"You may eat the frog sitting at the end of your tail," replied the frog king, and the snake promptly gobbled up the last frog.
This incident recurred every day until the snake devoured all the frogs, including the king.
